Cal Inspection COVID-19 Update

I hope you are well and staying safe! Just wanted to drop you a note to update you on how we are operating at Cal Inspection Bureau, Inc. We have instituted a business continuity plan which will remain in effect as long as this emergency continues.

Our entire office staff is working at home. You can still reach your usual contacts by email or by calling in and using the automated phone system to reach them.

Our phone room is fully operational. All phone inspections are being done in their usual way and time frame.

We are still conducting physical inspections where possible. Our business is considered an Essential Workforce because Cal Inspection Bureau is a part of the Financial Services Sector.

However, with the “shelter in place” order, we are having obvious challenges with coverage and time service. Insureds are often unwilling or unavailable to conduct inspections. Delays are inevitable. Be assured that all inspectors have been instructed to follow all Federal, State and local guidelines with regard to social distancing, self-quarantine, etc. Please feel free to give us guidance on how you would like your physical inspections handled.
